Rei means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki means "life force energy". This system works to balance the bodies energy system (Chakras) to eliminate problems an individual may have. Integrative Bodywork is a holistic approach to session that includes, but is not limited to: Therapeutic Massage, Reiki, Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology and Cupping. As always, sessions are geared towards your individual needs. Bodywork techniques also aim to assess or improve posture, promote awareness of the body-mind connection. A body oriented, introspective process using one’s inner awareness to find insight into any issue or problem that is hindering one’s ability to feel whole, centered, balanced, and joyful.
Gua Sha is a healing technique of Traditional East Asian medicine. Sometimes called coining or scraping, gua sha is defined as scraping a tool across the skin to create petechiae (bleeding capillaries). It’s important to note that these markings are not bruises.
